At the National Western Stock Show, the exhibits go on and on. My all time favorite place to hang out is at the Petting Farm. Here they bring in baby animals for everyone to enjoy.
Of course there is a proper warning at the gate, the owner is not responsible for damage to one’s clothes, shoes, etc. No worries, clothes and shoes can be washed or replaced.
Wandering around inside is worth the risk considering the precious memories one makes.
The National Western Stock Show is great fun, awesome for the kids! I have friends who were there displaying their Alpacas from Canon City. Their alpacs won a few ribbons. Why won’t they? They look like over sized stuffed toys!
Yes, they do look like toys. I’d love to be able to take a hike with one and let them carry my gear!
