One of my favorite things to do in August is to search for great sunflower shots on the plains of eastern Colorado! This one I took last year at this time. As you can see the weather was moving in making the sky more interesting than normal. If you want to see acres and acres of gorgeous sunflowers, all you need to do is take a drive to the east of Denver International Airport. Do it soon, you won’t be disappointed!
