Atop the Capitol Dome one cannot help be impressed the beautiful craftsmanship of construction, the fine details of work and of course the astounding view of the Front Range (Rocky Mountains).
The general public is welcome to take a tour of the Dome. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes; the stair climbing at over 5280 feet of elevation is tough and the air is mighty rare.
