Denver has been on a campaign to educate citizens to use less water. Throughout the city one can see the signs “Use Only What You Need.” Obviously the campaign is working.
Homeowners have changed from having green grass everywhere, to planting flower and sometimes vegetable gardens. Now in full bloom the yards are bursting with color and size. It’s not uncommon to have the plants taking over the normal walkway, causing pedestrians to take a slight detour.
I don’t mind giving flowers a break. They won’t be around much longer so let them celebrate their beauty!

Very pretty – but I’m curious, what neighborhood is this? I miss Denver some times.

Hi Dena,
That house is on the corner of 6th. This area is called Congress Park. Want to move back? 🙂
