Hi Krystal – love your pictures! I am a geologist and have started a new website on my experiences in the field and just wrote a blog on the first time I drove towards the Rockies. That incredible experience is captured in your picture – best I’ve seen! Right now, I just have a link to this picture but if don’t see many visitors clicking on the link. Could I have your permission to post the picture to the site in addition to the link? I’m new to this, so wasn’t sure the proper protocol for copyright but from what I’m reading I need your permission first. Here’s my website in case you want to view: http://www.rockheadsciences.com. The link to your picture is under “Rocky Mountain Majesties: Field Camp Adventures.” Thank you! Sandie Will

Hi Sandie,
Thank you for asking. Since you did ask I will give you permission to post my image on your site. I do require one favor, please give me credit by linking back to my site. Thanks! I hope you enjoy blogging as much as I do!
Thank you so much Kristal! I have linked it on my facebook page (Rock-Head Sciences) and will add it to my website (already have your link on there). Feel free to stop by and take a look! I love your photography! This picture really captures the enormity of the Rockies. So far, I’m enjoying blogging – gives me my writing outlet! Thanks again! Sandie

Hi Kristal!
I saw your photo at the link below and would like to know where it was taken.
I am flying from Sweden to Denver on the 11:th of june to ride a motorcycle to Grand Canyon and I would like to include the road on your fine photo.
Sincerely,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,
This was taken from Colorado 159 south of Blanca Peak (near Great Sand Dunes National Monument in Colorado). There are many locations you can get a similar view of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
What route do you plan to follow from Denver to the Grand Canyon? Perhaps I can suggest a scenic route for you…
