Each year the 844 takes passengers from Union Station in Denver north on an excursion to Cheyenne Frontier Days. This popular ride sells out long before the event, so I always manage to NOT have the opportunity to ride the train.
Instead, one year I chased it! Oh what a ride that was! It wasn’t my intent to go very far, but it was so much fun I found myself in Cheyenne! This year I’ll make my calendar of July 23, 2011 with some luck I’ll be chasing this iron horse again! Wanna come?
