This one is my favorite. It really appears that I am in flight also, instead of standing on the ground! What a thrill!
USAF Thunderbirds in Flight
Last weekend I had the shear pleasure of photographing the Thunderbirds as they flew for the Rocky Mountain Air Show. It was an exciting event as they put on quite a show!
Curious Critter
This curious critter wanted to chat! She was making her way along the river at Waterton Canyon this afternoon. Big Horn Sheep live up in the canyon so it’s fairly easy to see them while hiking in the area.

Lone Tree Goes to the Dogs
On the last day of the swimming season the pool is open to dogs only. It’s a great day for watching them enjoy themselves. They run, jump, fetch, splash and play. No one leaves the premises without a smile on both their face and in their heart.
Balloon in B&W
The Colorado Balloon Classic is being held this weekend in Colorado Springs at Memorial Park. 76 hot air balloons will take off each morning, filling the sky with color, with exception of this very cool Black and White Hot Air Balloon.
Red Spires at Night – Denver Botanic Gardens
Denver Botanic Gardens is currently featuring this exhibit by Chihuly. The wonderful exotic and colorful glass sculptures are found throughout the garden. I was lucky to attend one night for the Front Range Photography Meetup. This is one of the images I came home with! Raindrops in the Pond
The Chihuly Exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens offers a wonderful opportunity to see his glass art mixed with the Gardens. I captured this as the rain fell on the purple reflections in the pond.
Denver Botanic Gardens after the Storm
The storm passed by quickly last night, leaving a few dark clouds and a magnificent rainbow. This was at the Chihuly Exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
