Perigree Moon Over Iconic Sonic
I got very excited about the moon this month. It was in a phrase where it’s the closest to the earth in 18 years! I joined a group of photographers out by Denver International Airport hoping to catch a stellar shoot as the moon rose over the landmark terminal.
The weather had other plans. Cloud cover and wind prevented me from getting a great shot. But as I drove home I did manage to capture the iconic Sonic Drive-in as the moon peaked out from the clouds.
My efforts were rewarded!
