A serpentine river winds through the valley as wildflowers decorate the hillside. There is a reason why Crested Butte is called the “Wildflower Capital of Colorado.”
Sunrise occurs late in the mountains. It takes extra time for the sun to rise above the mountains and shine on the landscape. This morning the light was amazing as the sun illuminated the field of wildflowers in Crested Butte.
Another rose from the War Memorial Rose Garden in LIttleton. This is actually a photograph with a texture embedded on it. I like to think it looks like something I’ve painted!
Not many people know there is a lovely War Memorial Rose Garden in Littleton across from Sterne Park on Spotswood Street. I enjoy going there early in the morning to literally “smell the roses!”
