I’m sure it has another name, but since I don’t know what it’s called, it’s “Monument of Light.” I think it’s Colorado’s history on a cylinder and illuminated for all to see. I enjoyed trying to capture it without people in the way. Well almost. Located in front of Union Station to the north.
The Amtrak was stuck waiting for a new engine last night. I certainly hope they gave the passengers time to go wander around the city!

Recently I organized a Meetup at a Denver icon, the D&F Clock Tower. This is one of the amazing sights inside this building. We had fun climbing all over it, finding new ways to capture its beauty.

Taken very early this morning, I was hoping for a quiet street without traffic. Instead I got lots of traffic going to the Rock ‘n Roll Marathon, so I opted to shoot long exposures capturing the tail lights of the moving cars.

I organized a Meetup at the D & F Clock Tower last week. It was a fun event, we got to explore the building, I even climbed to the very top where the bell is located. This capture was taken from the lower deck. Each side of the tower has a clock face. It is a very unusual location.

Downtown Denver is a busy place at night, especially after the Bronco game is over. This was taken after the Broncos lost a pre-season game. It didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of the people enjoying the night.
