Hike the Rock at Castle Rock
Anytime you drive south on I-25 through the town of Castle Rock you will pass this iconic rock which the town is named after. Did you know there is a trail that winds around taking you to the top? I climbed it one day with my grandsons. We had a great time until the youngest one decided he didn’t want to walk anymore. Hummmm.
Windmill at Murphy Creek
I so enjoy when communities use old fashioned icons to identify themselves. Murphy Creek is a lovely neighborhood to the east of E470 and just south of I-70. There’s a great golf course there too.
Daniel’s Barn
My favorite barn up on Daniel’s Park Road. Located high on a ridge you can see forever along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.
