Its Snow Picnic!
Today we finally got some snow, but first we had frost. Heavy, thick beautiful frost. The trees were heavy and wavy with beautiful frost! I spent the morning in the snow until my jeans were frozen solid, then like a little kid I finally came home to thaw out. Hope you got out to enjoy the snowy splendor!

This is the historic Schweiger Ranch with the Super Moon rising. I’ve processed it to be more artsy, without the urban lights of Parker in the background. It probably looked like this 70 years ago.

Here’s a challenge for you! It only needs a “few” items, roof, flooring, insulation, plumbing, windows, doors, heat, appliances and an exterminator! Just look at that view!

One a recent “field trip” with the Front Range Photography Meetup group, I visited Long’s Iris Garden in Boulder. What a wonderful time to year to enjoy the explosion of colors found there!
A recent snow gently covered the golf course creating a lovely scene. Wouldn’t this be a picturesque place to live?
I came across this lovely yard, where the owners gave new life to items others normally throw away. It was a charming place, very well done and cared for.
Tonight I got “the look” when taking this picture. I do believe he was feeling annoyed with my thoughtlessness. I didn’t bring any food.
By the way I never feed these guys, I’d like to, but aside from being illegal, it’s downright dangerous. They are huge!
